Q. What will happen if it rains on the day of the event?
A. The show must go on! Our events will always continue in rain with the exception of severe weather conditions which could pose a hazard to our audience/staff (electrical storms or winds of more than 30mph.) In the event of a cancellation, the event will be rescheduled to a later date, at no extra cost. We advise our guests to check forecasts beforehand and to be prepared for the unpredictable British weather. We will always try to ensure that ponchos are available to purchase. It gets a little nippy after sundown so bring a jumper or someone to cuddle!
Q. What happens after I book my ticket?
A. All of our tickets are available to purchase online through our website. Once you have made a booking, you will receive a confirmation email and will need to print your tickets and bring it with you on the day.
Q. Can I bring food and drink?
A. Our guests are welcome to bring picnics and we will have popcorn available to purchase at most of our events. We kindly request that guests respect the venues and refrain from littering. We also request no glass bottles. Some venues will have hot food and drink available, so please do check before packing a hamper full of goodies!
Q. Do I need to bring something to sit on?
A. It depends on the venue/event. Most of our events will have seating available but if you want to bring something more cushy for your tushy then please do.
Q. Can I smoke at the screening?
A. Yes, smoking will be permitted at most venues and we ask our guests to adhere to venue allocations for smoking areas out of respect for other members of the audience.
Q. Are dogs allowed at events?
A. Dogs are not permitted at our events out of respect to other audience members. Pass the Popcorn apologises for any inconvenience.
Q. Will there be toilet facilities at the screenings?
A. Of course, our events will always have toilet facilities available, please check event information on our website beforehand. Should you require access to a disabled toilet, please let us know in advance.
Q. What if I forget my ticket?
A. We ask that you bring your printout with you, however if you’re having a bad day, don’t worry, just give us your details at the entrance and we will have a record of all bookings.
Q. Will there be subtitles?
A. Not usually, unless we are screening a foreign movie. Should you require subtitles, please let us know when booking.
Q. Is there wheelchair access?
A. We will work to ensure that nearly all venues have wheelchair access so please do check before booking. If you have any specific requirements regarding access, please let us know in advance and we will take care of you.
Q. Can I host my own event through Pass the Popcorn?
